Yves Bresson lives and works as independent photographer in St. Bonnet le Château.
His photographs bear the traces of human influences, breathe peace, beauty, poetry and harmony. Just like the two improvised shelters, not even tents, but only protective walls against the wind, made of branches, textiles and leaves with their improvised fireplaces that remind us of a hasty departure. In their sad melancholy, they evoke associations with the current flight movement, which is upsetting our world. Human artifacts are ephemeral and fragile, decaying into silent melancholy. Yves Bresson does not pursue a fixed plan on his travels. Instead, he patiently waits for his motif and it seems that the motif also waits patiently for his photographer.
