Guillaume Bruère is a French artist based in Berlin. His work includes pictures, drawings, sculptures and performances.

His works, which are often large in format, are not uncommonly executed in front of a public. As happens, for instance, when Bruère draws in front of originals in museums. This he does not as a copyist who slavishly reproduces a picture in protracted processes, but by translating ‘chosen’ pictures into the drawing.
